The Gin fizz ketch was selected for Laura Dekker’s record winning circumnavigation based on “security, comfort, ease of handling at sea and ability to make a lot of miles day after day in varying conditions”.
She has been lovingly maintained and upgraded over the years by her boatbuilder and delivery skipper owner and numerous amendments adding to comfort have been made to the original setup. The yacht is loaded with spares, tools and extras.
If interested, owner could also transfer the US LLC company (on which the boat is registered) which would include the boat registration valid till 31st. Dec. 2020. Hull insurance for 60,000 EUR by Esa Euro ship/ (“Alliance”), valid till end of March 2019 can also be transferred to new owner.
The owner reluctantly has to sell due to family illness causing indefinite postponement in cruise. She has been discounted for a quick sale.
